Introducing the SVP Teens Personal Challenge Fundraiser! What is that you ask? Well, it is exactly what it sounds like! Our teens are going to take on a personal goal or fun activity for the course of the fundraiser and YOU can donate to support them. As always, all of the funds will go to the SVP Teens community grant fund. Witness all the fun on our Instagram account (@svpteens) where we will share updates on each of the challenges.

Like many others, staying active has been a goal of Holden's throughout the lockdown. Holden is looking forward to safely getting outside in the fresh-air for some good quality activity. Support Holden while taking on the ultimate 300km bike challenge!
Skylar is a young kw artist who is channeling her passion for art towards making sketches. For every one dollar donated, she will make one sketch and post it on her social media. She is open to suggestions if you would like her to use her amazing skills to draw something of your choice! Every dollar counts!
Just two teens working hard to stay active this quarantine! For the next 3 weeks Jeremy and Vincent will be running 3K everyday to take good care of their physical health. Cheer them on throughout this 1.5 marathon!
Lauren will be doing the Melodica personal challenge, a personal challenge that she herself has invented! For every two dollars raised, she will be learning a new song on the Melodica. The tally is currently at 54 songs and will hopefully be even higher by the end of the challenge! Lauren hopes that with this challenge she will be able to spread her appreciation for music and grow her musical abilities.
Maddie's love for movies (especially during the lockdown) have pushed her to pursue this challenge! She will be putting together AND sharing short comedy sketches which she develops on her own! Indeed, a future director in the making.
Studies show that cleaning up the space around you, actually increases your focus. Dian will be taking an average of 20 minutes per day to clean an area of her home! As part of her challenge, she will find a better home for one of her belongings, for every $2 donated!

Aviral is going to be stepping out into his community and helping neighbors by shoveling their driveways when it snows! We all know how Canadian winters can be so support Aviral as he does his part in the SVP Personal Challenge Fundriaser.
Following in the steps of Sadako Sasaki, Rita will be making at least 5 paper origami cranes per day, amounting to at least 150 cranes by the end of the fundraiser. In the early 1950's young Sadako made 1000 paper cranes as a symbol of other leukemia (cancer) patients. Rita will dedicate these paper cranes to YOU by writing your name or favorite quote on it. She is devoting this challenge to her grandmother who lost her life to cancer, as well as the 9.5 million people who lose their lives to cancer every year.
By making coffee for her family every morning before school, Audrey is taking on the fun, yet important, challenge of fixing her sleep schedule! In knowing that she is contributing to a charitable cause, she is more inclined to establish and maintain a healthy sleep schedule. Audrey needs every dollar you can provide, to keep her motivated alongside helping out the community.
